The
Lodge is an elegant Victorian country house situated on the banks
of the Erriff River and the world famous Aasleagh Falls amidst 36
acres of mature woodland. It consists of 9 Bedrooms, including 8 en-suite
and 1 standard room. There is wheelchair access to the lodge. The Dining Room
is situated on the ground floor and the Lounge is situated on the
first floor - it is comfortably furnished with an open peat fire kindled
each evening creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. There is central
heating throughout and the power showers and soft water are refreshing
and rejuvenating.
The lodge was renovated in 2001 to a luxurious standard, with modern facilities, while still retaining its old world character. It is fully approved by Failte Ireland. Each bedroom is uniquely designed, incorporating period furniture and tasteful decor. The sought-after Killary suite has breathtaking views over Killary Fjord and the surrounding mountains. The tranquillity of the location ensures a good night's sleep. |
