The Lodge kitchen makes good use of the great variety of local fresh produce. A full Irish Breakfast is available each morning. Homemade brown bread and scones are baked in the Lodge daily. Sea fresh fish is sourced from the nearby fishing areas of Cleggan and Westport, and includes such prime fish as Brill, Black Sole, Plaice and Turbot.

Fresh wild salmon is smoked in nearby Cornamona and angling guests can avail of this facility. Shell fish is also on the menu and includes mussels and fresh crab claws. Friday night is known as Lobster night when fresh locally-caught lobsters are on the menu . Its not all surf - there are some turf - including Rack of Lamb and well-aged West of Ireland prime sirloin.

Vegetables are sourced locally and include organic produce as much as possible. The Lodge also has an interesting Wine List and Champagne is available for that special occasion.
