Aasleagh Lodge, your home away from home, is a beautifully restored 19th century Victorian country house, with 9 spacious and comfortable bedrooms. It was previously part of the estate of the Marquis of Sligo, and is now managed by Inland Fisheries Ireland.

The house is set in 36 acres of mature woodlands with magnificent views over Killary Harbour and surrounded by beautiful mountains. A short walk through the grounds brings you to the famous Aasleagh Falls, an internationally famous waterfall on the Erriff River, where silver salmon can be seen leaping as they make their way upstream. Top quality salmon fishing is available on the river.

With quiet surroundings and luxurious bedrooms, you are assured of a good night's sleep in comfort and tranquillity. The bedrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated to the highest standards, with 8 ensuite and one standard room. Catch up with other guests after your day's activity in the old-style drawing room, or visit one of the local hostelries, before dinner.

Every effort is made to make your stay at Aasleagh Lodge all-embracing, with the best locally caught seafood, and fresh home produce. Each evening of the week guests are treated to a different local speciality, prepared fresh in the kitchen. A hearty breakfast will set you up for your day's activity, and packed lunches are available daily.
